Guardian House, is situated in a popular residential area of the city with all the major Potteries towns easily accessible by public transport.
Having only 24 bedrooms, the home has a delightfully intimate and personal atmosphere within a homely environment. The modern, open plan style accommodation is based around an internal courtyard garden which provides an ever popular location for residents to enjoy a sunny afternoon.
A wide range of services are available to make sure you feel completely at home. One team member is an activities person who encourages residents in pastimes, trips out, and social occasions. Relatives, friends and members of the local community are always able to participate in these activities, and are most welcome to visit Guardian House at any time.
Home Comforts
As a resident you can enjoy the privacy of your own room or the companionship of a shared room, and you are welcome to add your furniture and personal possessions so you'll soon feel at home. Some rooms have en-suite facilities, whilst all rooms have television points, central heating, and nurse call systems so that the residents feel reassured 24 hours a day.
Home Cooking
We take great care in providing a wide choice of quality cuisine, and always ensure that special dietary needs and personal preferences are catered for.Visitors are welcome to dine with residents, and meals can be taken in either our dining room or, if residents prefer, in the privacy of their own room.
Care with Confidence
In all of our homes you will find a committed team of experienced and dedicated staff who have been selected for their ability as caring professionals and their warmth of character and personality. Guardian Care is an Investor in People company and we are committed to training and developing all our staff to ensure the quality of both the home and the care team meet national standards.

Supervised by a care manager, each home provides 24 hour nursing care and liaises with Doctors, and other professionals, in the provision of a complete programme of care for each resident. In addition, our activities programme ensures that there are plenty of regular events to stimulate both mind and body.
Becoming a Resident
The first step to becoming a resident is to visit the Home. We are happy to talk to all members of the family and to show them the services and facilities available for those considering either permanent or respite stays.
The Home welcomes residents who are privately or publicly financed, and our Homes Administrator is available to discuss funding arrangements.
