Relax @ Guardian Care is a specialist spa and therapy centre offering a range of hydrotherapy, sensory, and associated treatments for clients able to benefit from these services.
All clients are able to use this facility during their stay at the Guardian Care Centre, and for clients staying in our critical care unit at Mayfield the service is included in their care package.
Relaxation Suite
The relaxation suite features a spacious spa and hydrotherapy pool which for non ambulant clients is accessed via specialist overhead tracking. The pool can be used for a range of treatments and clients are accompanied by members of staff at all times.
In addition, mood lighting and relaxation music help to create a relaxing environment, and showering facilities are available once the treatments have been completed.
Sensory Centre
The sensory centre is equipped with the latest in computer generated visual and lighting effects, and complemented with a range of stimulating sensory aids that help clients to interact with their surroundings.
At the heart of the sensory centre is a heated water bed, encased in a protected padded area, providing a safe environment in which clients can enjoy this experience. For non ambulant clients’ specialist overhead tracking is provided in order to access the facility.
Massage and Therapy Options
A range of massage and therapy options are available from both our own experienced staff and visiting professionals in their field.
Bookings and Availability
Bookings can be made at any time, in advance, and are invoiced as an additional charge on clients’ monthly fee statements (unless included in your fee package as detailed above). Massage and Therapy services are charged at an additional cost in all cases.
